Mr. Anthony Ong
Dynamic and strategic, Mr Ong has handled a wide range of design and build, and conventional projects. His more than S$1 Billion expansive portfolio includes institutions such as polytechnic teaching hubs, prison complex, fire stations; commercial buildings such as sports complex, private clubs, office buildings; industrial buildings such as automotive yards, biological plants, conventional and chemical warehouse; residential projects such as HDB SERS and high-end condominiums; and town councils A&A and upgrading projects. His expertise lies in business development, project management, contracts and structural works, design and build, management and fast track projects. He possesses certifications in ISO 2000 Management Systems, ISO EHS Internal Auditor for ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001, CONQUAS 21, Construction Safety for Project Managers and Risk Assessment. Mr Ong is a Qualified Design for Safety Personnel (DFSP) and holds a Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity. Mr Ong is also an Accredited Construction Professional (Tier A), ACP (A) with Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL) and currently appointed as a Assessor for SCAL Construction Professional Accreditation Scheme (CPAS). Mr Ong graduated from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 1999, and has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He started as a project engineer with a local building contractor, rose up the ranks to be its project manager while it became a prominent A1 building contractor in Singapore. He subsequently joined another public listed A1 contractor and became its senior project manager. He was last a general manager of a local construction company before setting up SANWAH.
